pilates reformer

The Pilates reformer is a traditional piece of Pilates equipment which looks like a bed with springs, a sliding carriage, ropes and pulleys. The origins of the Pilates reformer date back to the original Pilates studio in New York in the 1920’s and was designed by Joseph Pilates himself.

Foundation Pilates reformer classes promote length, strength, flexibility, and balance. Utilizing many different exercises, clients build strength by pushing or pulling the carriage or holding steady against the power of the resistance springs. This is a beautiful class built for all levels and will help you build core strength and long, lean muscles!
